Angel's Landing is Heaven on Earth for all of your RV camping outdoor recreation.  We're located on the northern shore of Lake Moultrie, Santee Cooper Country in South Carolina. Since 1979, Angel's Landing has been the perfect destination or affordable getaway- an hour from Charleston and Columbia, for travelers looking for relaxation and comfort, or travelers looking for outdoor recreational adventure and fun with your family.

Angel's Landing Campground has 145 spacious waterfront and waterview full hook up campsites. Campsites have cement parking pads with extended patios for your comfort and enjoyment and entertaining. Our pull through sites can easily accommodate large 50 AMP motor homes.

The Marina in conviently in front of our Camp Store. Our 450 foot fishing pier has been bringing in nice catches. Recently 30 lb. catfish have been landed from our pier. With the changing lake levels we've expand our Coves on both sides of the landing's waterfront campsites making it even easier for you to dock your boat.  For your comfort our restrooms have been completely remodelled. We maintain the high standard that Angel's Landing is known for. We also offer laundry and a dump station.

Explore this often wild and beautiful part of South Carolina by making Angel's Landing your starting point. There are many activities for you to choose and enjoy from our landing. Beautiful with abundant wildlife, Lake Moultrie is 14 miles wide and encompasses 70,000 acres that are clearcut and easily navigatable.
Here are Lake & Navigation Maps. These waters can take you on a once in a lifetime experience through the Pinopolis Lock  , down the Tailrace Canal that flows into the Cooper River, and  empties into the magnificent Charleston Harbor. The Pinopolis Lock was the highest single-lift lock in the world at the time of its construction with an exciting 75 foot drop into the Tailrace Canal. Be sure you bring your camera!

One of the most facinating phenomenons is the annual migration of the fish spawning. Santee Cooper's Anadromous Fish Passage & Restoration- St. Stephen Fish Lift is one of only 2 of it's kind on the East Coast. Lake Moultrie yields everything from record-size striped bass and catfish, to bluegill and bream. Fishing licenses, information on bait and tackle, and fishing guides are available. In addition to the many species of game fish that inhabit the lakes, the shores teem with wildlife. The Bald Eagle, Osprey, alligators, Blue Heron, Deer, fox, squirrel, dove, turkey, and ducks share this beautiful area. 425 miles of hiking and bicycling paths are a series of “passages" that make up the Palmetto Trail. The Palmetto Trail is the state’s largest bicycle and pedestrian project that spands from the mountains to the sea. If your a hiking , biking, running enthusisast or horseback riding the Lake Moultrie Passage of the Palmetto Trail, we're  located 100 yards from the Palmetto Trail Marker on the Diversion Canal. These are the woods of Francis Marion, "Swamp Fox". The day trip Eutaw Springs Passage is home to the famous Battle of Eutaw Springs Revolutionary War Battlefield. After a day of exploring adventure you'll be ready to unwind in our new 4 acre Rec Area. A 35ft x 65ft swimming pool constructed by Shotcrete Pools of SC, LLC is OPEN!!  There are 12 ft decks surrounding the pool for your relaxation, comfort, and enjoyment. There is an adjacent Recreation Hall that can accommodate 200 people for cookouts and live music or entertainment, Join in Horseshoes, Volleyball, ping pong, billiards, and other activities.
